The First Editorial Board Meeting of Rare Disease and Orphan Drugs Journal was Successfully Held Online

The first Editorial Board meeting of Rare Disease and Orphan Drugs Journal (RDODJ) was successfully held online on March 30, 2022. Editor-in-Chief Professor Daniel Scherman, 12 Editorial Board members, and Editorial Office of RDODJ attended the meeting.

Editor-in-Chief Professor Scherman chaired the meeting. He summarized the development of RDODJ in the past year and introduced the development plan. He also expressed his sincere thanks to every Editorial Board member who has contributed to RDODJ. Professor Scherman said that the success of RDODJ attributed to the Editorial Board. He is confident that RDODJ will achieve the development goals with the support of all the members.

During the discussion, each Editorial Board member expressed their opinions and put forward many constructive suggestions. They have also expressed that we are not only launching an academic journal on rare diseases, but also focusing on the patients with rare diseases, providing opportunities and platforms for them, and making more people and scientists pay attention to them. Our vision is to make a professional, influential and have a temperature academic journal on rare diseases. The Editorial Office of RDODJ would like to thank all Editorial Board members for taking time out of their busy schedules to attend this meeting and contributing their creativity and ideas to RDODJ.

In the future, our Editorial Office and the Editorial Board will work together to make RDODJ a high-impact journal! Thank you again for your attendance and support!
